Torrejón de Ardoz hosts three renowned music festivals that were previously held at IFEMA- Madrid: elrow Town, Brava Madrid, and Madrid Salvaje. These festivals are committed to sustainability, aiming to minimize environmental impact and disturbances to the local community.
The promoters of these popular festivals have stated that «they have chosen Torrejón de Ardoz because it is one of the trendiest cities in Spain that has become the epicenter of entertainment in the Community of Madrid. The organizers have given it the new designation Torrejón Festival City, as Torrejón de Ardoz is positioning itself as an international music festival destination. Additionally, the Leisure Park-Fairground is outstanding with an ideal natural setting.»
Over 100 national and international top-level artists and groups will be featured at these festivals.
The elrow Town festival stands out for its striking decoration featuring top global artistic figures, debuting the main stage in Torrejón that will later tour Europe. The festival also boasts an ambiance with 400 street artists from all over Europe and special animation groups. It is considered one of the best electronic music gatherings featuring talented Spanish DJs like Indira Paganotto, Andrés Campo, and Paco Osuna, as well as international acts such as Paul Kalkbrenner, Cloonee, Novah, and more.
Brava Madrid will showcase the pop music of renowned American singer Anastacia, British artist Olly Alexander, Eurovision stars Chanel and Daniela Blasco, the international urban reference Villano Antillano, indie bands like Miss Caffeína and La Casa Azul, and the irreverent humor of Ojete Calor, all accompanied by Lalachús and the Bingo Party featuring famous Drag Queens.
Lastly, Madrid Salvaje will feature emerging urban music artists like Kidd Keo, Sticky M.A., Soto Asa, Hard GZ, Al Safir, Disobey, Metrika, and Grecas, among many others.
The Mayor of Torrejón de Ardoz, Alejandro Navarro Prieto, expressed his satisfaction in hosting these festivals due to their prestige and economic benefits for the city. With these events, Torrejón de Ardoz solidifies its position as a music scene reference in Spain, establishing itself as Torrejón Fashion City.
Alejandro Navarro has arranged for up to 10,000 tickets per festival to be reserved for Torrejón residents, available at a special 50% discount starting from April 9th for elrow Town festival. Tickets for Brava Madrid and Madrid Salvaje will be available from September 5th.
To reduce potential disruptions to neighboring residents, a Special Mobility and Parking Plan will be implemented, directing vehicles to large parking lots in the Almendros and Las Monjas industrial areas to avoid increased traffic in residential zones. Parking on certain streets will be prohibited except for residents, festivals will end at midnight, the main stage will be oriented towards the Las Monjas industrial area to minimize sound transmission to residential areas near the Bullring, and the number of events in spring-summer will be reduced with a focus on quality.
The arrival of these festivals will be balanced by the elimination or relocation of other noise-affecting activities previously held at the Fairground and Bullring. For example, the Craft Beer Fair-Hop Route will be incorporated into the traditional Taste Torrejón event at the Plaza Mayor, Locos X los 80 and Torrejón Sound Festival will have new locations, Romanian festivals will be moved to the large parking lot at Parque Europa, and other smaller events will be discontinued.
