From April 4th to 13th, the Gastronomic Showcase of Torrejón de Ardoz returns, offering high cuisine menus for 33 euros and spanning two weekends. The Mayor, Alejandro Navarro Prieto, presented the fifteenth edition of this initiative, which has become one of the city’s most significant gastronomic events, at Bar Origen II located at Calle Apolo Nº1. The Mayor was accompanied by UNICEM’s General Secretary, Carolina Santana, Vanesa Calvo from the Central Zone Merchants Association, and the establishment’s representatives where the event was presented.
Torrejón de Ardoz, April 2, 2025. This showcase will feature menus of extraordinary quality, both in terms of the preparation of the dishes and the ingredients used. From starters to main courses, second courses, and desserts, the offerings are sure to rival those of any gastronomic competition.
All this for an affordable price of 33 euros including VAT and dessert. In other words, you can enjoy a magnificent menu with a truly accessible quality-price ratio, complemented by the professionalism, service, and attention provided by the participating restaurants. This turns Torrejón into a tourist and gastronomic destination from April 4th to 13th, 2025.
The XV Showcase has extended hours, with lunches from 13:00 to 16:00 every day, and dinners on Fridays and Saturdays from 21:00 to midnight. Additionally, the showcase will once again cover two weekends.
The Mayor mentioned that «this Gastronomic Showcase adds to other initiatives such as the Tapas Route, the Spoon Route, or Torrestock, with the aim of revitalizing the economy and promoting the hospitality and commercial sector of the city.» He added, «I am confident that the outcome will be satisfactory for the restaurateurs, as they will gain brand image, visibility, publicity, and media presence. This will allow them to attract new customers who might not otherwise visit their establishments. It will be an incentive to continue increasing the quality and good reputation of the city’s restaurants.»
