Reabierto acceso provisional por la carretera M206 desde Loeches a Torrejón de Ardoz, sentido Torrejón

• Due to the continued Alert for persistent rains in the Community of Madrid and the rise of the River Henares as a result of the releases ordered by the Tajo River Basin Authority in Alcorlo, Beleña, and Pálmaces, the Torrejón de Ardoz City Council recommends avoiding areas near the banks of the River Henares due to the risk.

• The Mayor of Torrejón de Ardoz, Alejandro Navarro, has been, along with the Councilor of Security, Alberto Cantalejo, the Councilor of Urbanism, Housing, and Youth, Víctor Miranda, and members of the Local Police and Civil Protection, inspecting the areas near the riverbank for the past few days to check the water level and the rise, and is in constant contact with the authorities of the Community of Madrid.

• Additionally, the Mayor supervised this morning the closure of Carretera M206 towards Torrejón de Ardoz from Loeches at the river level, which was carried out by the Road Directorate of the Community of Madrid due to the rise in water level, coordinating the works that have allowed to restore, provisionally with a single lane in each direction, the traffic opening of the access through Carretera M206 from Loeches to Torrejón de Ardoz, towards Torrejón.

• The Security and Emergency Agency of the Community of Madrid (ASEM 112) maintains activated phase 0, the lowest level of emergency, of the INUNCAM Plan that aims to address all emergency situations due to flood risk.

• It is recommended to avoid flood-prone areas and not to cross water currents.

• The Community of Madrid reports that forest agents are monitoring the most affected areas of the Henares, Lozoya, and Tajuña rivers. In addition, emergency services are monitoring the situation in case action is necessary.
