Micael Da Silva’s wife, the author of the fatal hit-and-run that left four dead and seriously injured in November 2022 at a wedding in Torrejón de Ardoz, testified in court that some of the guests stabbed her husband, stating that both she and her children were invited to the reception contrary to what the hosts claim.
The court judging the accused witnessed on Friday the pain and anger of the deceased’s relatives as they shouted for justice in the courtroom, demanding that ‘El Portugués’ bear the full weight of the law for the massacre he caused, a scene compared to a terrorist attack due to the graphic images it left behind.

The trial being held at the Audiencia Provincial de Madrid continued on Friday with the testimonies of the victims’ families and the defendant’s wife.
The jury heard accounts from several eyewitnesses, relatives of the deceased victims.
«We want justice. They have destroyed our lives,» cried the son of one of the deceased, who searched for his father among the fatalities.

Another of Tío José’s daughters demanded justice and implored the jury to impose the full weight of the law on the accused.
The defendant’s wife affirmed that both she and her children were invited to the reception, with the groom’s father personally visiting her father’s house to extend the invitation.
Her husband attended the celebration to look after one of their children who had mental health issues, with the witness stating that a person took a glass from her son at the wedding, sparking the conflict.
«We are threatened by these people,» the woman denounced, claiming that her husband was stabbed inside the restaurant.
The prosecutor is seeking a sentence of 226 years in prison for four counts of murder (25 years for each) and nine counts of attempted murder (14 years for each).
The prosecution’s lawyers are requesting life imprisonment with possibility of parole due to the fatal hit-and-run with multiple victims.
