Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, chief of staff to the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has sent a brief letter to the Government Delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín, in which he criticizes his «lack of respect» and, following a letter asking the regional leader to take action against an eviction in Torrejón de Ardoz, urges him not to communicate via letter with «such rudeness.»
In the letter, Rodríguez acknowledges receipt of the letter regarding the eviction in Torrejón de Ardoz, but states that he will not pass it on to the regional president due to the Government Delegate’s «lack of respect.» «I ask you to write to the president with the decorum befitting your position. If you are unable to understand what you represent, do not send letters with such rudeness again,» Rodríguez emphasized in the text, obtained by Europa Press.
The Government Delegate had previously sent a letter to Ayuso urging her to take responsibility and act against the eviction of a single-parent family from a social housing unit in Torrejón de Ardoz, while also inviting her to participate in a tripartite working group with the City Council to address the situation.

Meanwhile, the Government Delegate, Francisco Martín, has accused the regional president of «hiding» behind her chief of staff, who, according to Martín, is «in charge of the Community of Madrid.»
«As serious as it is dangerous,» he shared in a post on the social network ‘X’ following the brief letter sent by Rodríguez. «Ayuso should be providing an urgent solution to a vulnerable family she has put on the street instead of hiding behind her chief of staff due to alleged (and false) offenses,» Martín stated.
