The City Council of Torrejón de Ardoz is organizing a total of 12 free courses aimed at unemployed individuals during the first semester of 2025 to boost employment in the municipality.
In a statement, the council has indicated that this program includes areas with high demand, such as administrative services, warehouse management, teleassistance, content management, welding, and artificial intelligence, among others.

The complete list of courses and workshops can be found on the municipal website. This initiative complements the 360 free courses from the XI Edition of the Virtual Training School and the 11 workshops and social tools aimed at acquiring knowledge in highly demanded professions such as school lunch monitor, warehouse worker, and orderly, among others.
All of this is complemented by the offerings from the UNED at its associate center in Torrejón de Ardoz, specifically in its university access course, the degrees in Business Administration and Law, and the Digital and Distance Language University Center, offering English training at various levels.

The council also highlighted, in the education sector, the Adult School, where training is provided to obtain the ESO diploma, as well as initial teachings to acquire basic knowledge for personal and professional development.
Finally, they emphasized the courses and workshops offered by the city’s cultural centers. In this regard, they mentioned that the Performing Arts Center – La Caja del Arte offers training in music, dance, theater, and circus disciplines.
