From March 24 to 28, the registration period for the Easter Break Colevacations will be open, with the aim of promoting the reconciliation of family and work life. Registrations can be done in person at the Department of Education, located at 5 Boyeros Street, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00; by phone at 91 678 25 60, or by email at colevacaciones@ayto-torrejon.es. Torrejón de Ardoz, March 17, 2025. Easter Break is approaching, and with it, the holidays of the youngest members of the household who are out of school and only concern is to have fun and play. However, for their parents, these days can become a problem as not all families have the ability to reconcile their work life with their children’s holidays. Therefore, the Torrejón City Council, through its Department of Education, has launched a new edition of «Colevacaciones.»
This initiative, which meets the demand of many families, is aimed at children between 3 and 12 years old and will take place at the CEIP Ramón Carande activity camp on April 11, 14, 15, 16, and 21. You can choose to attend for individual days or the full program. The schedule is from 9:00 to 14:00 with the option to extend from 7:30 to 9:00 (including breakfast) and from 14:00 to 16:30 (including lunch).
«It is a ludic-educational program through which an alternative is provided to children whose parents work in the mornings. In this way, the kids can spend time from 7:30 to 16:30 in one of the city’s schools, in a different way than they do the rest of the year, interacting with other children of their age, while learning through play and having fun,» said the mayor, Alejandro Navarro Prieto.
